1. About these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FairJobhunt website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. FairJobhunt is operated from the United Kingdom and these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Jobhunters

FairJobhunt is designed to help you apply on merit. You agree to provide accurate information about your skills and experience. You may use a chosen nickname instead of your real name. You retain ownership of any content you upload but grant FairJobhunt a non-exclusive licence to display it to employers in connection with your applications.

4. Employers and recruiters

Employers and recruiters who post roles ("Listings") must ensure each Listing accurately describes the work, real salary range, hours, term and location. Misleading titles, hidden conditions, "competitive salary" placeholders or blanks may be refused or removed. Ghosting applicants — failing to reply to a candidate you have engaged with — may result in flags and, for repeat offences, suspension or termination of your account.

5. Payments and refunds

Paid plans and one-off Listings are billed in GBP through our payment provider. Subscription fees are charged in advance for the billing period. You may cancel a subscription at any time from "Your roles" → "Manage subscription"; access continues until the end of the paid period.

14-day money-back guarantee. If you change your mind, you can cancel any subscription or one-off Listing within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full — provided you have not used your allowance within that period (for example, posting a job using an Additional Post credit, or having an active Listing live under an Unlimited or Premium subscription). Once a credit has been redeemed or a Listing has been published using the purchase, that purchase is treated as used and is non-refundable. To request a refund, email support@fairjobhunt.com from the address on your account. UK consumers retain any statutory rights they cannot lawfully waive.

Removing a Listing before it expires. If you delete a live Listing before it runs out of time — at any point, including outside the 14-day window or while you are on an active subscription — your account is automatically credited with 1 replacement post you can use for another Listing. Expired Listings do not receive a credit.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to post unlawful, discriminatory, fraudulent or misleading content; harvest personal data; circumvent screening or moderation; or interfere with the Service. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these rules.

7. Intellectual property

FairJobhunt, its branding, design and software are owned by us and protected by UK and international law. You may not copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the Service without permission.

8. Liability

FairJobhunt is a platform — we do not employ Jobhunters and are not party to any employment contract. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
